The data controller for personal information collected through this website is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company number 16703925), Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG, the holding company of the S&K Group.
What we collect
- Details you send through our forms, live chat, WhatsApp, email or phone: your name, phone number, email address, the property postcode and what you tell us about the property.
- If you allow live chat, the chat provider records the conversation and technical details such as your browser and approximate location.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare quotes and carry out any work you ask for. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We do not sell your details. We do not send marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Within the S&K Group, with the company that will carry out or invoice the work. With vetted subcontractors working under S&K where needed to survey or carry out the work. With service providers that run our website forms (Web3Forms), live chat (tawk.to) and email, who process it on our instructions. With councils or building control bodies only where you ask us to make an application on your behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are kept for up to two years. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as we need them for the contract, warranties and legal and tax obligations.
Your rights
